Hi, I'm Lisa — Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and lover of wholesome, healing food.

Where It All Began

I grew up in the Midwest as the youngest of six in a bustling household filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of homemade meals. My mom had a gift for feeding our large family with nourishing, comforting food made from scratch — and there was usually dessert! That early connection to the kitchen planted a seed in me: food is more than just fuel — it’s love, creativity, and connection.

Years later, as I started a family of my own, I naturally carried on the tradition of home cooking. But like many of us, I didn’t always prioritize health when planning meals. Over time, I began experiencing changes in my energy, digestion, and overall well-being. I knew something had to shift.

A Turning Point

That’s when I started digging. I read everything I could get my hands on, explored plant-based eating, and began tuning into how my body responded to the food I was eating. What I discovered was eye-opening — and life-changing.

When I transitioned to a more whole-food, plant-based lifestyle, everything began to improve. I felt more energized, my digestion balanced out, and for the first time in a long time, I just felt good. That personal transformation lit a fire in me to go deeper, which led me to become a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor.

My Approach

I believe that true wellness starts with listening to your body and getting curious about what it’s trying to tell you. Think of me as your partner in doing a little gentle detective work — exploring symptoms, lifestyle habits, and food choices to uncover the root causes of imbalance.

Whether you’re struggling with low energy, digestive discomfort, or simply want to feel more vibrant in your everyday life, we’ll work together to create a personalized, sustainable approach to health that nourishes you from the inside out.
