My Journey
I grew up in a cozy Michigan suburb, the youngest of six in a busy and loving household. My mom was always in the kitchen, preparing homemade meals from scratch for our big family. Our table of eight was always full of laughter, love, and delicious food – usually topped off with a homemade dessert!
That early connection to food stuck with me. When I became a mom myself, I followed in my mother’s footsteps, making home-cooked meals a priority. But while I loved being creative in the kitchen, I wasn’t always focused on health.
That changed when I began experiencing shifts in my own health—low energy, digestive issues, and just not feeling my best. Determined to get to the root of it, I dove into research and uncovered a whole new world of information about food, lifestyle, and wellness.
Embracing a mostly plant-based lifestyle was a turning point. Suddenly, I had more energy, better digestion, and a renewed sense of well-being. That experience fueled my desire to learn more—and led me to become a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor.
Why I'm Here
I created this space to share everything I’ve learned—and continue to learn—about holistic nutrition. My goal is to empower you with simple, nourishing recipes, practical wellness tips, and a deeper understanding of how food truly impacts every part of your life.
Together, we’ll do a little detective work—tuning in to your body, your habits, and your unique needs to uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether it’s fatigue, digestive discomfort, or just wanting to feel more vibrant, we’ll work to identify root causes and make sustainable changes that actually feel good.
